SYTYCD Eliminations ~

eggshellblueMy opinions on the 'bottom' Dancers from this week, and last:
THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN CUT:
Ricky: I didn't like him from day one. He was so pasty and skeezy. Just something about him really irked me, and I don't know what it was exactly. Though I'm happy he's gone, but frankly he was a talented dancer and I think the judges may have messed up in sending him home so early.
Ashlee: Cute girl, decent dancer, completely forgettable. And her bland solo didn't help her case either ~
Jimmy: Again, nice guy, great technician, and one of those dancers that just kind of floats under the radar. I think he should have stayed, more so than Cedric, but what can you do? The judges are on crack; for once, I agreed with Mary O_o;
Faina: *sigh* I'm just... disappointed. Not because she got sent home, because I honestly believe she should have, but because I wanted more from her. Her first audition just completely wowed me - she danced with poise, elegance, sensuality and personality; and that, in the end, was her downfall. I think the reason why alot of people felt it hard to connect to her was because she seemed to lack a likability factor, that is to say she didn't really emote much and seemed to keep herself bottled up at all times. That really hurt her, as I doubt anyone really voted for her, but more for Cedric. But now, when she was cut, then they showed footage where she was being personable and quirky. Now that it's too late. *siiiiigh* I really wish she had stepped up her game, but she didn't, and she deserved to be cut.
THOSE WHO ARE SAFE, BUT BARELY:
Cedric: FOMG, THIS ONE SHOULD BE CUT. GONE, GONE, GOOOONE. He does not deserve to be in the competition any longer than he has. I'm so pissed off that he got to stay and Jimmy got cut. Truthfully, I love his personal style of dance. The way he moves just blows my mind. But that's just not good enough. He let his partner down twice. Faina wasn't good at Hip Hop, and Cedric should've been able to help her or at least bolster her (like many other partners do for one another), and then on the foxtrot he just flat out sucked. It's ridiculous having to watch truly versatile and competetive dancers go home because he puppy-dog eyes his way into safety. He's got great personality. He's sensitive, and caring, but so are like all the others. If he sucks again, and doesn't get cut. I'm going to be pissed.
Shauna: Fantastic girl, fantastic solo. I really like her, and I'm glad she got to show everyone what she can do - hopefully she'll be able to get out from under the radar now.
Jessi: Her solo sucked. I'm very disappointed in her, she should have done better.
Pasha: I don't really like him either. I don't actively dislike him, I mean he's a nice guy and a decent dancer, but he's just so... dumb. Like, a total himbo. The way his facial expressions work and how he carries himself, he's like a child, and not in a good way. Just so... juevenille and... dumb. Gah, I feel bad, he is a nice person, but Goooood, I can't handle such blatant displays of stupidity. I just can't.
There, that's it for now. I'd write about everyone, but it'd take too long, and I'm sleepy ~ Another time, perhaps.

I'm so upset that they cut Jimmy. I really think that he should still be there. I loved him in the Broadway routine. :(
I wasn't really strongly attached to Faina. I just...I think she didn't show enough personality, and therefore she came off as a little icy. I think that's the reason I never really got into her or Snow. Both of them are to "Russian Ice Princess" for me. I feel the same way about a lot of the Russian female figure skaters, too.
I totally think Cedric should have gone home this week. I think part of the reason he's still there is the judges want him to be Ivan 2.0, and are just waiting for him to pull an Argentine Tango-type routine. But I'm very worried that now he's going to be paired with Shauna, as they both seem to be struggling a bit.
Shauna has totally been flying under the radar. I LOVED the Broadway routine, and still forgot about her the next week. She really needs to pull something PHENOMENAL off next week, or I think she's in trouble.
Didn't really like her solo either. I think that she was shocked to be in the bottom and therefore didn't really plan a whole lot for her solo.
I really like Pasha. He's so cute sometimes. Like last week, in the clip of them rehearsing the waltz, Jessi says they're going to go home and pray, and he's says no, they're going to go home and practice. XD And when the judges were commenting on the waltz and said what girl wouldn't want to be dancing that dance with Pasha and he looked all suprised and embarassed. I think that he was also suprised that he was in the bottom, and therefore his solo wasn't that good either.
Anyway, that's my 2 cents on your comments. Is it long enough for you? ;D
