What's all this binnis about deleting journals, and innappropriate material, and the general interference in the works of fandom?

I'm not liking this...

Some people were acting all crazy about something or other, and they attracted the attention of the LJ police, who started deleting journals and communities that had "bad" words in their interests, like "incest" and stuff. The only problem was, they didn't actually read what the communities were about, so they deleted ones like a support group for incest survivors and stuff like that. The LJ police didn't even warn people that they were going to shut stuff down so they could change things, and a lot of people got upset about it.

The Admin. recently made a long letter of apology and they're reactivating a lot of the journals.
