(from all the varius comments above that triggered laughter)

i LOVE harry... and i wudn't love him if he was perfect!
i love Sirius for similar reasons.. yet its a different kinda love ;)
i LOVE BILL (~!~) because hez hot and smart and has the earring... (ignore the irrelevance)
and i, the mindless reader, dint pay much attention to Remus, maybe
it was because he was the GOOD one out of the trio: i.e Potter, Black, and Lupin. Good boys dont call for attention, thus they dont get any...
anyway.. maybe the reason for his lack of involvement from the story was to leave the spotlight for Sirius... the whole reason why sirius' death was tragic was because he was the only one Harry could relate to (besides the fact that he was hawt ~not in the movie~).
Look at it from the writer's perspective, if Harry cud relate closly to both of them, then there would be no intensity and so that part of the book would loose its intrigue (if thats the spelling)
and i LOVE uer id pic.... :p the swimming one ;) ;)

Oh, btw, has anyone yet come to the conclusion that Remus may be an Occlumens/Leglimens~? I read an essay on that subject and considering the proof given i was fairly shocked at how true that possibility could be... i'll see if i can dig up the essay to show you guys...

Here it is ~

I suppose it's a possibility, but I'm not too sure. In terms of the first example, it was a one-on-one conversation. Lupin's full attention was on Harry. He probably could discern his train of thought from his facial expressions. Everyone always seem to know what I'm thinking. As for the secind example, Remus knew Sirius extrememly well for many years. It makes sense that he should be able to predict his train of thought, and once again tell what he's thinking from hi facial expressions. My brother often answers me before I even ask ask anything. I guess I'm just so predictable.

That's horrible! It'll be like Remus is the last resort. That's sad.
It would have been more shocking if I noticed when Sirius died the first time I read that part rather than wondering why everyone was crying over Sirius.
I didn't say Potter had to be perfect. But he's such a ................................................teenager! Stubborn, stupid, and doesn't recognize all the people who love him--Dobby, who Harry only remembers when he needs something, yet who adores Harry; and Remus) It would be OK, except some of the things are REALLY stupid. ie the mirror, not going to Snape for help (forgetting he was in the Order). Sometimes I even want to hit Hermione over the head with somethng. Writing Dumbledore's Army at the top of the paper. I had to stop reading the book for a day after she did that. Not after they got caught, after she wrote Dumbledore's army. It was a disaster waiting to happen, and if I noticed...
Occulems? Interesting, but I have a test today, so I'll read the essay later. Wish me luck!
PS Nice to have you join the conversation Juhi
