Weird Day
I started by leaving the house without my glasses. Which, y'know, is a big thing 'cause I'm kind of mostly blind without them. The kicker? I was about halfway to the bus-stop before I realized they weren't on my face. FAIL.
It must be because I was mostly in a daze all morning while getting ready, so the fact that everything was out of focus didn't occur to me simply because I hadn't been focusing on anything, anyway.
So, because of that I missed the bus, and was late for Digital Painting. Fortunately Michael starts the lesson like half an hour in, so I didn't miss anything. Though when he came around to inspect our environment paintings, he was all "Hey, you're using Painter! 8D" and then proceeded to tell me everything he told me last week when he had that exact same reaction. Clearly, he didn't remember at all, but considering I was so into painting at that point I kind of just "Uh-huh, mm-hmm"'d at him until he went away. I felt kind of bad because it was sort of rude, but hey, I didn't want to have to go through another 20 minute talk on how awesome Painter is and all it's cool features, ffff. *shrug*
The rest of the day was pretty uneventful, oh, except that I got a 6/10 on my animation >_<;;; Thankfully it's not worth much, but JEEEEEZ, really Mark Mayerson? REALLY? Apparently I did my track breakdown ALL WRONG. I thought the track that I was lip-synching to said "I'm melting, melting! Oh my world, my world!". The four or five times I listened to it, that was EXACTLY WHAT I HEARD. But apparently the track was "I'm melting, melting! Oh, what a world, what a world!"
WHAT?!
How the fuck did I miss that!? UUUGH. So, since my "W"s were "M"s and the entire latter part of my animation was synched wrong, I lost marks and just uuuughhhh I'm kind of annoyed about it. *sigh* Like, I'm used to doing only average in animation, but this is the first time I've ever gotten a mark so low (that wasn't caused by late deductions), so it's kind of disheartening >_>
So yeah, school is a blast. We'll be getting our Muscle Test marks back tomorrow. I know I passed the written portion, but I'm terrified to see the big fat F on the drawing part.
Ughhh. This week sucks. Now back to Character design. PEACE OWT.

I cannot explain the rage I feel for that man. I pity his attitude towards life. Seriously, i didn't want to animate when he was.."TEACHING" us. And now it's what I want to do 8) So don't take mark personally, he really shouldn't be telling other people what to do. He really is a "teacher by mistake"..lololol. Yah know I'm not funny.
Other than that, sorry it's been kinda lousy, hope it picks up sooooon! <3
