Deathly Hallows!!
Managed to get Deathly Hallow's on Friday (just past) and finished it Saturday morning.
SO, WHAT DID I THINK?
I really, really, really liked it! xDD
Though some parts irked me. Like Remus/Tonks. Seriously, that was just vile. I'm not even gonna get into a rant about that. But gweeeeeh, gross.
- JKR actually can write! My world doesn't make sense anymore D:
- Bellatrix/Voldie = OTP. Anyone else think she was like giving him a blowjob that one time? "My lord ... my lord" ... and then Voldie "gets up from the floor" ~ That part made me laugh waaaay outloud xDD
Bella: *puffs out chest and leans forward, the top button of her robe pops off* ... Oops ... ;D
Voldie: ...
Bella: ...
Voldie:You realize I molest small children, don't you? Uh, no.
- FOMG LUNA. She's my new fave character. Whut.
- Which means, that Remus has been bumped down to second ): ~ He was such a total git in this book. But I still love him, 'cause he's Remus. And that's reason enough.
- Battle of Hogwarts? OHMAN. That was such utter and awesome win.
- MRS. WEASLEY vs BELLATRIX = BEST EVER. FOMG. Finally, a real swear word~! JK grew some baaaaaalls! ... figuratively.
- Speaking of swear words, what was up with that "effing" business? Like, it was so effing annoying!
- Snaaaaape D:
- Albino Peacocks? YES.
- Ravenclaw common room, ohman. Totally reaffirmed my loyalty to that house xD ~ Asking a question instead of a password? That's so cool.
- Scrimgeor died so quickly >_>

- KREACHER! :D
- Surprisingly Remus' death didn't upset me only very little. Like, not even as much as it should've ... we won't even discuss Tonks.
- I think I actually liked Harry Potter in this book. Like, for the first time in history I didn't want to reach in and strangle him every few pages o__o;;
- I really think that Harry/Ginny and to a lesser extent Ron/Hermy weren't so Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu romance-esque. Y'know? Like, it wasn't as annoying, exaggerated, and cheesy as it was in the last book.
- FOMG WANDLORE. That's my new favourite thing evar. Ollivander x Gregorowich x GRENDELWALD?! Wands used in inappropriate fashions. YES. But seriously, was I the only one fascinated during the Wandmaker chapter? Wandlore just sounds so... intruiging *__*;;
Aaaand, that's about it. As you can see this wasn't really a review post, so much as it was just me babbling (quite incoherrantly) about whatever it was that popped into my head regarding DH ~
Ah well, I'll write something more when I think of it xP
[EDIT]: Though, in hindsight, I think I'm rather happy Remus died. Now, he and Sirius can shag forevar for all eternity, while looking young and pretty! :D
